User responsibility

Users are responsible for reviewing records, category choices, business purpose notes, GST/HST treatment, and exports before relying on them.

Professional review

When unsure, users should consult a qualified tax professional. Deductr can assist with organization, but it does not make final tax decisions on the user's behalf.

No guaranteed tax outcome

Deductr does not guarantee deductions, refunds, audit outcomes, or tax savings. Category suggestions are meant to help organize records for review, not to certify final tax treatment.

Local data

Deductr stores records and receipt files locally on the device in this release. Users should export important records before clearing local data, deleting their account, changing devices, or uninstalling the app.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions are managed through the App Store. Trial eligibility, cancellation, renewal, and refund handling follow Apple's subscription and purchase policies.
